In July 2008, Kid Cudi released his first mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi, in collaboration with the New York street wear brand 10.Deep, with free download. He moved to Brooklyn, New York to pursue a music career. Mescudi started rhyming at the end of high school, inspired by alternative hip hop groups like The Pharcyde and A Tribe Called Quest. He had a troubled and controversial relationship with the famous actress Amanda Bynes. Later, Mescudi studied cinema at the University of Toledo, then retired after a year. Mescudi attended Shaker Heights High School for two years, transferred to Solon High School, where he earned his GED. When he was eleven years old, MescudiвЂ™s father died of cancer, this passage would have a significant effect on his personality and, subsequently, his music. His father, a painter, substitute teacher and veteran of World War II, was an Indian-Mexican, while his mother, a high school teacher at Roxboro Middle School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, is African American. Kid Cudi was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in the suburb of Shaker Heights and Solon. His single вЂњDay N вЂNiteвЂќ is part of his first album, entitled Man on the Moon: The End of Day. The mixtape gained a lot of fame, their single Day N вЂNite reached the Top Ten on BillboardвЂ™s weekly list of R & B / HipHop songs.
